SMART School Project was launched in our School in the year 2003.  It is a Government of India Project given to one hundred Govt. and private schools in our Country.  The word SMART stands for Simulated Multimedia Aided Resources and Training.  The project fortifies with thirty three computer terminals and uninterrupted internet connectivity for educational purposes.  The scheme has heralded the new-age of teaching learning process in the School.  All the subjects are now taught through computers and latest assemblies in the line.  Students on their part are ever keen to steal an additional chance to maneuver the mouse key and learn for themselves.  The computer facility has been extended to local community and free CLP-training is given to neighborhood school students. So far nearly two hundred students have been trained on computer basics.


With the joint venture of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and INTEL Corporation, a National Level Technology Contest for the best integration of ICT in classroom learning is being conducted every year where this school has the pride of exhibiting its excellence in the field by bagging best school award, Best Teacher award & Best Student Award every year.  This year two of our students Miss Anwesha Satapathy & Master Deviprasad Behera  received the best student award for using technology to enhance learning process.







         Computer Literacy Excellence Award         

This school has the honour of getting 1st Prize in the state and 3rd prize in national level as the best centre for CLEA-2005 (Computer Literacy Excellence Award ) by the Ministry of Information & Technology, Govt. of India.
